Away from the Sun may very well be a Rock Alternative Pop hit, but that's only because a good majority of the songs will end up on most local radio stations.  Starting from "When I'm Gone," they boyz get right into their regular sound, and then kinda slow it up a bit with "Away from the Sun."  Away from the Sun really touches on feelings that a lot of us go through searching for an identity and purpose in life, particularly when you think back on how life was always so care free and relatively easy...then you grow up, you take on certain responsibilities, build new memories, but always cherish the past. 

"I'm so far down away from the sun
That shines to light the way for me to find my way back into the arms
That care about the ones like me"

When I heard this line, the first thing I thought of is the way Muslims and Arabs are being treated today...almost like people are trying to take away our sunshine.  Anyway, be sure to check out Going Down in Flames (catchiest song and most to sing along to), Here Without You, and This Time.  I have links to a webpage that has their lyrics, and I decided to include the "Away from the Sun" lyrics on this page too.  For those of you who like to listen to most any kind of music, you will totally dig this cd, and I'm sure you'll thank me for brining it to your attention.
