They call it the Seventh Wonder of the World, only after I saw it did I realize what I had been missing out on! I almost refused to go via train because it's supposed to be a 24 hour train ride...the ride felt like absolutely nothing! Of course, I read 20 magazines and slept 17 hours:-) And I won't even begin to tell you about the bathrooms! Let's just look at the good stuff.
We drove to Agra and guess where we stopped to eat???? McDonalds!!!!!! Check out Esa and his ol buddy Ronald:
Here's the whole gang...I know it's a horrible shot. I'm still looking
for a better picture:

Here's the couple's section:
I got you babe!
Personally, I love this shot!
I got you Beebee (that's what dad calls mom sometimes) .
Here's the view from the Taj Mahal:

I don't know why, Esa had a good time standing on everything.

Click
on the picture and see if you can make out Esa's earring.
I always knew she was one tough cookie, but this is ridiculous. Here she is holding up the Taj Mahal.
Here's the best part of the trip. We actually got a guide to tell us the history behind the Taj Mahal and I guess these croonies are nothing but a bunch of commission sales guys for the shops in the "Meena Bazaar." After the tour he tells us that we can go there and check out the wonderful bazaar where we could purchase a souvenir Taj Mahal and more importantly, WATER! It was like 120 degrees outside! Anyway, we went to one store....it had a nice air conditioner blowing, the guy had chairs for us, and he went through every single size and model available. When he told us the price we walked right out that door...and as we were walking out, he lowered the price by 50%!!!! What the hell? Next thing we know, we're getting mobbed by all kinds of merchants telling us they have the best and cheapest Taj Mahal. The picture above shows all these guys around my dad...the poor guy was harassed worse than a Art Van furniture salesman. Daddy laughed, didn't know who's shop to go to, so we left.
The train ride back was awesome! We lost the pictures, but have stories of the food vendors that would take days to get up. TOMATO Sooooooooooooooooop! Vada vada vada! Cool DDrrrrrinks! Chillie Chickain...Chickain Chillieee!!!!
