Light Rock

I know I listened to everything in the 80's, but I kinda got away from the lighter stuff while I was in middle school and high school....and it wasn't until my high school graduation I heard my first song by Sarah...sigh!  Actually, one of my classmates sang it, but the words to "I Will Remember You" stuck with me and the reality of leaving old friends behind sank in.  Only after that day did I decide to listen to an album by Sarah McLachlan...and soon enough I had all her cds and imports.  I really can't wait till she comes out w/some new stuff.  I'm really curious to see how having a child affects how and what she writes about...I think Celine Dion thought enough...and now she's taking her thoughts to the bank!

Light Stuff

Sarah McLachlan - Whatever I say about her artistic style and voice couldn't possibly enough...so I'll won't waste my time.

Celine Dion - Incredible voice.  I can't say I really got into all of her songs, simply because I feel that Sarah takes the cake in the genre and no one else is needed:-)

The Corrs - Hello!  If there's a group that can take so many wonderful sounds from various instruments and combine them with beautifully melodic sounds it is definitely the Corrs!  How bout that, three sisters and their brothers getting along so well that they can put out music to ease all kinds of tension in people's hearts.  Yep, they got the sound that will leave you breathless!

Phil Collins -
