I'll be the first to tell you, I DID NOT THINK WE WOULD
WIN THE NBA FINALS! As a matter of fact, at the beginning of the year I
thought we would win only 50 games...but lo and behold, Larry Brown listened!
I told him, "You gotta make your players play the right way" and that he should
get Joe D. that he needs to get Rasheed to Detroit. It's a good thing I
put in a call to Danny Ainge...the rest is history! Wow, these playoffs
were incredible...I didn't think we would have such a tough time w/NJ...then I
thought we would lose to Indy, then I thought we would lose in 6...do you
believe? You all can thank me and my negative Nazar! And for all you
morons that I asked to come to the Palace to stand in line and get tickets with
me and didn't come...I hope you had fun watching it on TV:-) I went to
games 3, 4, and 5.
Game 3 - Omar Habib came along...it was his first
Detroit Sporting Event...I hope he'll remember it forever.
