North Carolinaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!  Raise up!!!!  Well, we definitely raised the roof and had the time of our lives...in as special way as you possibly can.  Q, Rashu, and I set out early Friday morning...yes by desi standards it equates to 12pm, doh and buckled down for a 13 hour drive to NC.  We took some pics here and there and of course throughout the trip...and most of them were with our great friends....Murry and Mudd!  Mashallah, you guys are unbelieveable...I truly mean that.  The whole time we were there you guys gave us the royal treatment, totally took care of us, and most importantly you did so with your hearts.  This was a wonderful bonding experience and may AllahSWT continue to make us all be closer and be pleased with us....Ameen!

There was so much to do...we started having fun from the second we got there.  Moddassir is a big fan of the Lord of the Rings books/movies...and decided to share something he truly loves with us.  So the first night we watched the first movie, the second night we saw part 2, and on Sunday we saw part 3 in the theater...guess who's buying all of the DVD's and video game?  Thanks for sharing Mudd!  And we learned a new card game... Bullsh*t!  Great game...we had some classic battles and while trying to understand my mathematical logic, slamming ice cream, and controversies!

Then there was...Hookah night...AKAsheesha.com coming soon!  Sorry, I'm not allowed to put up all the pics, but for good reason, lol!  There's barely any tobacco in there, so it's really weak, but you have a good time doing it...pictures have been removed...don't want any misconceptions on what was going on.

We went to Five Star, some Chinese Restaurant downtown...pretty good food, but it comes in a distant second to PF Changs...Moddassir will tell you straight up!  We got to meet some of their friends...and any friends of Maryam or Moddassir, are friends of AKAawesome.

Just like all goods things, our trip did have to come to an end.  We got to see Mudd's work and took a walk in the park on what was the most beautiful day!  We did a lot more than what the pictures depict...I mean come on, who takes a camera everywhere they go, wink wink.  It was a great trip and thanks again Murry and Mudd...we can't wait to see you two again.

The only sad part of the weekend was the loss of Brett Favre's dad...Brett went out and played one of his best games ever, throwing for 399 yards and 4 touchdowns.  It's a big loss for him, but I sure hope he can lead his team to the playoffs...and still have enough to take em to the big dance!
