I had no plans of seeing the Pistons vs. the Cavs, however one of our students at GIT says he's got a couple of tickets and he's not going......so Rashad and I decided we'd take him up on his offer. We got to the game a little late, but just in time to do some wheeling and dealing in the parking lot. This big Kalu said he had courtside seats...and I used my desi skills to get the $85 seats for my tickets and $20. Not bad!!! Unfortunately, we didn't get to sit next to each other, but Rashad was 3 rows behind the Pistons' bench, and I was 6 rows behind the Cav's. It was our last home game of the year, and a critical one....cause if we won and NJ lost, we clinched the Number 1 seed in the Playoffs.
I guess we didn't get there too late after all...just in time to make some new

There's Corlis running down the court...he finished with 18 points.
DE-FENSE!! DE-FENSE!! DE-FENSE!!
I had a hard time believing we were struggling so bad against the worst team in the NBA.
However,
it's tough w/o Ben, who was in street clothes.
"Hey, you're Rashad right? Didn't I see you in the Immigration line???"
LOL!
Looks like Corlis enjoyed the halftime show, hehe.
Chauncey didn't have the best game
but I have a feeling he'll make up for it.
We went on to win the game 89-88 when Cleveland goofed on 2 chances to win! They put on the last 30 seconds of the NJ game on Palace Vision, and sure enough...NJ lost!!! We're No. 1....wahooooo! Now we could go home and cheer the Wings on...sniff sniff...all of our cheering didn't amount to anything:-(
