DETROIT PISTONS
I have been a long time fan and even though I didn't pick up a basketball until I was 8 years old, it did not take long for me to fall in love with this sport. Watching this team compete and sharing with them the sorrow from the losses, and the tears of joy during the glory years has really strengthened my support for the Bad Boys.
I think The Pistons will be a top four team in the East and have the potential to go to the finals. It remains to be seen whether or not Jerry Stackhouse stays in the Royal Blue or gets moved for his inconsistency in last years playoffs. I'd love to keep him because of his loyalty to Detroit, but if my man can't hit a jumper when we need him, he's as good as gone. I trust Joe will make the right decision.

Boy it's tough to cheer on your team when they suck. Nevertheless, Go Lions!...and GO PACK GO!!!!!!!
Joey Harrington is the real deal and hopefully a really good draft pick to build around (provided his heart makes it). I was partial to Mike McMahon cause for some reason when I saw him play last year he show what looked like some "Favre-like" attributes. Regardless, it's the rest of the team that blows from the top-level management down to most of our players. Now will I still watch em play every Sunday?...probably. Will I get ticked when they lose?...yeah! But I'll also cheer like crazy for my team, and that gives me the right to complain about their faults;-)
Here are my predictions for the 2002 NFL Season
| NFC East | Philadelphia |
| NFC South | Tampa Bay |
| NFC West | St. Louis |
| NFC North | Green Bay |
| Wild Card | San Francisco |
| Wild Card | Chicago |
| Just Miss Out | Washington, New Orleans, and Seattle |
| AFC East | New England |
| AFC South | Indianapolis |
| AFC West | Oakland |
| AFC North | Pittsburgh |
| Wild Card | Miami |
| Wild Card | Tennessee |
| Just Miss Out | New York, Denver, and Cleveland...which will be a BIG FAT SURPRISE! |
| NFC Finals | Green Bay vs. St. Louis (trying hard not to say Philly and St. Louis) |
| AFC Finals | Oakland vs. Pittsburgh |
| Super Bowl | St. Louis vs. Pittsburgh |
| Champions | St. Louis |
|
Teams that are gonna flat out suck: |
|
| NFC | Arizona, Carolina, Dallas, Minnesota, and Detroit |
| AFC | Jacksonville, Houston, Cincinnati, and Baltimore. |
| Turnaround Year for: | Kansas City, Washington, and Atlanta. |
| *Detroit will win no more than six games. McMahon will go out and Harrington will shine. Defense will kill us big time! |
I can't see the future, but man I'm almost dead on about most of the teams this year!
Sid predicted the Bears and Indianapolis would meet in the Super Bowl...I think last year really got into most Chicago fans' heads last year...so you can't blame him...except for he said Chi-town would win it all.
Mamujan said Packers and Favre all the way...to which I say GO PACK GO!
Detroit Tigers - Maybe if we get Pudge we won't suck:-)
Here's the last game I went to at the old Tiger's Stadium.
Go Pedro!
